What is Erwin’s Retreat?
Erwin’s Retreat centers on Erwin Branford, a grumpy but affable retired Astrobotanist whose wife Emma has recently passed away due to a mysterious illness. After receiving a cryptic letter urging him to go back to the woodland retreat he and his wife once shared, Erwin returns to find the grounds in ruins and swarming with monsters known as Atrophor.
Still grief-stricken over his wife’s passing, Erwin is forced to confront both the finality and the mysteries surrounding his wife’s death and the sudden appearance of the Atrophor in the mysterious Peregrine Wood which surrounds the Retreat.
An old, beat up lantern may illuminate the keys to solving both.
